The 18th International Conference Series on Mesoscopic Methods in Engineering and Science (ICMMES) was held in La Rochelle from June 27 to July 1, 2022. As usual the first day is dedicated to short courses given by Pr. Rémi Abgrall, Pr. Paul Dellar, Pr. Martin Geier, Pr. Li-Shi Luo, and Pr. Pierre Sagaut. This conference is the annual meeting of scientists specialized in Lattice Boltzmann Methods (LBM). We counted then in this conference, after covid19 pandemic and after an interruption of two years, more than 65 participants including 40 (more than 15 different countries are represented) participants on site.
